Kombi Van
Supplied: a VW factory Kombi conversion. When considering a van conversion, the versatility of a Kombi conversion offers numerous benefits. Having fully removable seats to maximise load space, or perhaps to fit a blow-up bed for a quick getaway, can be handy. Then pop the seats back in to make the vehicle safe for up to 5 / 6 seats for friends or family.
VW panel van to kombi single, double, or triple seat conversion for VW T5 / T6 consists of removing all floor anchor points and replacing the front half of the headliner ceiling panel to accommodate bulkhead removal. Two genuine VW seatbelts with anchor points and reinforcement plates are installed inside and underneath your van. Genuine VW side step with courtesy light and rear load step.
Day Van
The Autohaus Newport Daytripper is our day van conversion. It is also one of our most popular options due to its versatility. It is the perfect halfway point between a full-blown camper and a regular van in terms of practicality.
Starting with the base vehicle, we strip the interior, removing the bulkhead and interior panels as necessary. From here, customers can choose soundproofing and insulation options and discuss the specific build options for their conversion. As with all our conversions, there are many customisation options for flooring, windows, carpet, bed board panels and power considerations; the choice is endless. The bed we use is the Scopema RIB150. We are approved RIB Bed installers, and we use them because we’ve found their products to be the best in terms of quality and ease of use.
Once the customer is satisfied with the Design, the work commences. From there, the customer receives periodic progress reports to keep them informed of the status of their build.
